Collagen peptides + vitamin C from the tropical cherry Acerola.
Complementary feed for dogs and cats in tablets to support ligaments, tendons and muscles.
Joint care should be comprehensive - appropriate physical activity, a balanced ration with regard to the breed and the animal's age, and, if needed, weight reduction. The owner can significantly influence the health of their dog or cat through diet and nutritional supplements.
Collagen is the most common animal protein and is an essential part of all connective and supporting tissues. The basic building units of this protein are amino acids - peptides. Collagen peptides have the ability to form highly organised fibrous fibrils in the intercellular space, which are firmly bound. Collagen peptides are the main active substance of collagen arthro-nutraceuticals that stimulate the multiplication of cartilage cells, increase the synthesis of cartilage collagen and regenerate the collagen structures of cartilage that form the musculoskeletal system. In the small intestine, collagen is broken down into fragments that are fully absorbable and incorporated into tissues. When administered orally, collagen peptides enter the digestive tract and are then absorbed into joint tissues and cells via the lymphatic system and bloodstream. The optimal molecular weight of collagen peptides 3000 - 5000 Dalt. ensures high absorbability.
Vitamin C is an important cofactor responsible for hydroxylation and thus for the formation of fully functional collagen.
MSM, as a source of organically bound sulphur, is important for biochemical balance in the body, regulation of growth processes, bone tissue metabolism and the formation of connective tissue.
We include it in the diet:
- for fast-growing individuals and puppies of giant breeds
- for sport-loaded dogs
- for degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system
- for post-injury and post-operative care
- to improve mobility in older animals
The product is intended for all categories of dogs and cats and is safe for pregnant and lactating females as well as for growing young animals.
