Sizes and usage guide
- 2.5 cm - ideal for toes, dewclaws, small areas, and precise wrapping
- 5 cm - perfect for paws, tails, and general dog first aid
- 7.5 cm - great for lower legs and more coverage with fewer turns
- 10 cm - best for larger areas, big dogs, and wider wrapping needs
Must-have for dog owners and dog sports
- Essential for every dog first aid kit - at home and in the car
- Perfect for your backpack on hikes, trips, training days, seminars, and competitions
Not only for dogs
- Useful for other animals too - especially horses and cats (dressing fixation, protective layering, stable and travel kits)
- Practical for people as well - sports and physiotherapy support, finger and joint wrapping, and securing pads during active days
Note
- Some cohesive bandages use latex for adhesion - avoid use if you or your animal has a known latex allergy or sensitivity
- Apply with light, even tension only - never wrap too tightly
- Paw wrapping tip - before you start wrapping, place one finger between the paw/leg and the first layer of bandage, wrap around, then remove your finger - this helps prevent wrapping too tight and supports good blood circulation
- After bandaging, check that the wrap is not too tight and that toes stay warm and normal in colour
- Check the wrapped area regularly for swelling, cold toes, colour change, limping, pain, or chewing at the bandage - remove immediately if any of these occur
- Do not cover an infected, heavily bleeding, or deep wound without veterinary advice
- Do not leave the bandage on for longer than necessary - change or remove regularly, especially if it gets wet or dirty
- Some cohesive bandages contain latex - do not use if your dog or you have a known latex allergy or sensitivity
- Keep out of reach of children and animals - risk of ingestion or choking if chewed or swallowed
- If you are unsure how to bandage correctly or symptoms persist, contact your veterinarian
