Tip: how to prepare BARF when travelling
When travelling, you can easily prepare a practical BARF portion from freeze-dried meat. Put the required amount of meat into a bowl, add dried vegetables or other commonly used BARF supplements according to your dog’s routine, pour over an appropriate amount of lukewarm water and leave to soak for a few minutes. Once softened, mix well and serve on its own or as part of the feeding portion.

As a guideline, 25-30 g of freeze-dried meat corresponds to approximately 100 g of fresh meat. This 220 g pack therefore corresponds to approximately 730-880 g of fresh meat. When preparing the portion, base the amount on your dog’s regular feeding ration and adjust it according to size, activity level and individual needs. For longer-term use, make sure the ration is balanced according to your dog’s regular BARF feeding plan.
