Complementary feed for dogs and cats to support ligaments, tendons and muscles.
Devil's Flex contains a combination of active substances that effectively help relieve symptoms of inflammatory and degenerative processes of the musculoskeletal system.
We include it in the ration:
- for post-injury and post-operative care of the musculoskeletal system
- for stiffness and reduced mobility in older animals
- for dogs diagnosed with degenerative disease of the musculoskeletal system
Any disease of joints and soft tissues is often accompanied by inflammation and pain. Inflammation and pain lead to limited mobility, swelling of soft structures and an increased amount of synovial fluid, which causes joint swelling. Due to inflammation, the area around the joint is more congested, warmer and painful. If the inflammatory process cannot be stopped at this stage, cartilage damage may occur. At the same time, stiffness and loss of muscle mass may develop, especially around weight-bearing joints.
The plant extract Devil's claw - Harpagophytum procumbens shows anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic and analgesic effects and is also suitable for myalgia and fibrosis. These properties of the plant drug have been recognised by the British Pharmacopoeia.
Extracts of Boswellia serrata, Yucca shidigera and MSM contribute to the elimination of inflammation. The effect of the extracts is very fast and usually occurs within 5 days from the start of administration. The mechanism of action is similar to non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drugs, it is safe, has no negative effects on the digestive tract and is very well tolerated.
Horse chestnut and field horsetail support the lymphatic and circulatory system, have anti-inflammatory effects and accelerate the resorption of swelling after injury.
Vitamin C strengthens cell walls, protects against damage to capillary vessels, supports collagen formation, helps maintain good connective tissue condition and supports wound healing.
Magnesium in organic form is essential for bone formation and is important in the blood clotting process, for normal nerve and muscle function, brings relaxation to tissues and organs and helps with painful muscle tension.
