Description
APTUS® ATTAPECTIN tabletThe active ingredients of Attapectin, attapulgite and pectin, protect the walls of the gastrointestinal tract and bind bacterial toxins and intestinal fermentation products and carry them through the gastrointestinal tract. In long-term use, attapulgite and pectin may also bind useful agents, such as concomitant medications, vitamins and iron. For this reason, Attapectin is recommended to be given not earlier than three hours after medication.
Instructions for use
Attapectin is used for temporary indigestion in dogs and cats. At the same time, the animal must be given a sufficient amount of fluids (at least 0.5 to 1 dl per kg per day), water or preferably an electrolyte drink (e.g. Nutrisal®). The need for fluid increases if the animal vomits or suffers from severe diarrhoea.
